I started Kindergarten at the age of 4, not because I was super smart but because we didn't have birth date cut-offs back then. My mom said she cried as I instructed her to stay put while I confidently climbed the bus steps nearly as high as I was, without looking back. I've always jumped in with both feet when I decide to do something. Brace yourself because I really want to thrive with Jesus!
Learning is my lifetime fuel and joy. After getting my doctorate in Clinical Psychology, I entertained the idea of going to law school (I told you, I love to learn) but my pursuit of wisdom (and shockingly high student loan debt) stopped me in my tracks and called me to pour that vigor for knowledge into a compassionate understanding of the human experience.
I know how easy it is to believe lies about yourself, others, and life in general. I also know how we can become so blinded through experiences that we mistake those lies for truths. God has graced me with a desire to thrive through hardship and He's taught me how to know and speak the truth, so I can. He's also equipped me to share those truths with you, so look out lies...here truth comes!
