Blogging. Coaching. Writing. Always thriving with jesus.
Learning to thrive with the Creator
through every-day lessons with the created.
Learning to thrive with the Creator
through every-day lessons with the created.
This is a sacred space where learning about God happens in delightful mundanity. The path of thriving produces abundance and fulfillment with each step you take. No, it is not free of thorns, protruding rocks, steep inclines, treacherous turns, dead-ends, snakes, or other threats. It is, however, replete with whispers of God's promises and purpose for you. It is a space in which thriving with Jesus happens in the most unlikely places. And, it is on this path, that you will grow, flourish, and prosper in the "easy", the "take-you-out-at-the-knees," and all the spaces in between.
Has God ever spoken to you through your pets or even an inanimate object? It happens to me all the time. Lit-er-ha-lly. That's why I'm here, among many other inspirational blogs. Every time I share one of these growth-moments with a friend or coaching client, they all have a similar response: "Wow, I just got chills."
While I don't want you to be chilly (like me in this pic learning about God while outside in the teeth-chattering cold - and, of course, choosing to stay cold longer so I could document that poignant moment), my hope is that your eyes and imagination will be opened to the messages of growth and promise that God, your creator, has for you. I believe He can use the most loveable creatures like my hounds (I'm a bit biased I suppose) or even the most silly of created things, like an Oreo™, to teach a willing heart.
So, whether you find them humorous, or life-altering, I hope that as I share my lessons learned and truths discerned (through my blog, our Clubhouse chats, Thought Coaching, or my books), you will be inspired to look closely, listen carefully, and feel fully the abundant life promised to you, because thriving with Jesus brings the confidence of a fulfilled present and a secured future.
PS - The message of Thriving with Jesus will never change, but my hair sure will. ;)
Your experiences certainly won't be mine. It's my hope, however, that these inspirational blogs will invite you to study your mundane moments, embrace the hard ones, and listen closely to the truth that you (yes you, specifically you, not general "you") are purposefully seen, tenderly known, miraculously loved and made to keep (or start) thriving with Jesus.
